2023 City of Marlborough Public Service Internship Program

The City of Marlborough's Public Service Internship Program is designed for area college students (preference given to Marlborough residents) who have an interest in pursuing a career in the public sector or who wish to gain practical, real-world experience in a particular field such as finance, engineering, public health, general municipal management and much more.
The program is designed for interns to work 30 hours per week for eight weeks from June - August. Students must be available for interview dates, program dates, and orientation. All students will be paid the current minimum wage for Massachusetts.
Application Deadline: April 26
Interview Schedule: May 1 - 15 (accommodations can be made for other dates)
Selected candidates will be notified the week of May 22nd.
Orientation (Mandatory): Friday, June 2 (10 am - 2 pm)
Program Dates: June 5 - August 18 (these dates are flexible)

- College Transcript (unofficial okay)
- Letter of Reference (from the professor, faculty member, or previous employer)
- Driver's License (or Passport, MassID)
