Adopt-A-Space Program

The Adopt-A-Space program engages community support to assist in the beautification of landscaped areas, traffic islands and other green spaces owned by the City of Marlborough. The program was initiated in 1999 by Mayor Vigeant in his role as City Councilor. The program has met success due to numerous participants. As the years have passed, the Adopt-A Space team has discovered ways to improve the program and make participation easier.

This year, rather than planting full gardens, new participants will adopt planters and leave the initial gardening up to the City. All planters throughout the City will contain uniformed plantings.
