The mission of the Marlborough Public Library is to create a community meeting house where citizens of all ages are free to gather and pursue common educational, cultural and recreational interests.
Want to learn a new language? How about Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)? Try Mango.
Mango also provides a way for people who speak another language, such as Brazilian Portuguese or Spanish, to learn English!
All you need to get started is a Marlborough Public Library card!
Funds for purchasing Mango were provided through a federal LSTA grant administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
The staff has put together a newsletter to let you know what is happening at the Library. Our Spring 2014 issue is now available!

New Database - Morningstar Investment Research Center
Morningstar, a source of information on investments and finances, has stopped printing their reports and has switched to an online version. We have added Morningstar to our database page under the heading FINANCE. Check it out and while you are at it check out the other databases we have for you on many different topics!
Home Delivery Service!
We have heard from many people would love to use the Library but due to health and or transportation issues they cannot. We are offering a new service that will bring the library to them! Interested Marlborough residents can just fill out a form with their reading, listening and/or viewing preferences and staff and volunteers will select up to 10 titles epecially for them!
Is there something you think we should add to the Library collection? E-mail us and let us know!
Check out our database page. We have added many new links and organized everything into subjects to make it easier to find just what you are looking for.
If you have ever looked for information, searched Google and found MILLIONS of hits, you might want to start your search in one of these databases. You'll get fewer, but better results than if you Googled it. Contact a Reference Librarian for more information.
Fine Free Wednesdays!
Wednesdays are Fine Free at the Marlborough Public Library! Any late items returned on Wednesdays will not generate fines.
Some items won’t be affected by fine free Wednesdays, such as late museum passes and some items borrowed from libraries outside of the CW MARS library network that Marlborough belongs to. The library will also assess a fee for lost or damaged items.
Keep up to date on what new materials have arrived at the Library!
