Mayor J. Christian Dumais announces the Mayor’s Summer Internship Program is returning for Summer 2026.
Building on the success of the past two years, the program gives local students and college-aged individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and make a real impact in the community by working alongside staff in various City of Marlborough departments.
The program is designed to help develop the next generation of leaders by offering a real-world introduction to careers in public service.
Program Details:
- Work up to 25 hours per week
- June – August 2026
- Placement within a city department alongside a department head or staff member
Who Can Apply:
- Recent high school graduates
- Current college students
- Individuals in the workforce
- Those taking a gap year
