Winter Storm Debris Collection/Drop Off

The Department of Public Works will collect storm debris from recent winter storms starting Monday, April 2, 2018. DPW crews will collect only storm debris (branches and/or tree limbs) from private residential properties. Regular yard waste will not be collected.

Storm debris should be cut into 4 foot to 10 foot lengths and placed by the curb no later than 7:00 AM on Monday April 2, 2018. Please do not block the sidewalks. DPW crews will make only one collection in each neighborhood.

We will also have two drop off locations starting March 24 through April 14:

  • 402 Hudson Street (former landfill) – debris should be cut into 4 foot by 10 foot lengths
  • 865 Boston Post Road East (Residential Drop Off Facility) – no longer than 4 feet; no larger than 8 inches in diameter. No sticker is required during this time.

As always, if you have a sticker you may drop off any brush no longer than 4 feet or larger than 8 inches in diameter at the Resident Drop Off Facility anytime during their hours of operation.

Please contact DPW at 508-624-6910 x. 33300 or at with any questions.
