City of Marlborough RECYCLING Mattresses and Box Springs Program.
Please call the DPW to schedule the curbside collection of your mattresses and / or box spring ONLY. City residents will still receive two free disposals of a mattress or box spring per calendar year. If you exceed your two free disposals, you will need to drop off a check to the DPW before the next scheduled pick-up date. The fee for each mattress or box spring over the two free ones is $25 each. The City’s curbside mattress pick-up will be every other Wednesday. The pick-up day may change based upon weather or other factors. Residents signed up for that pick-up day will be notified directly of the change. We ask that you place the mattress / box spring on the curbside no sooner than the night before the pick-up.
