The City Council granted the Application to Amend a Special Permit to Taj Estates of Marlborough, LLC to authorize modifications to a mixed-use project at 163-175 Main Street. The Site is located primarily in the Marlborough Village Zoning District, with a 98 square foot portion located in the Business District. The project at the Site would consist of a mixed-use development with 67 new residential units, 59 on-site parking spaces, and street level commercial space, in a 7-story building with a height of 75 feet and not including a roof deck. This development will transform a long‑underutilized section of Main Street into a vibrant, mixed‑use destination that supports housing, walkability, and economic activity in the city’s core.
