Our Responsibilities


Network Management

  • Network Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain the city's and schools' network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks.
  • Network Security: Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and cyber threats.
  • Internet Connectivity: Ensure reliable and high-speed internet access for all city and school facilities.

Technical Support

  • Help Desk Services: Provide timely and efficient technical support to city and school staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Device Management: Manage and maintain computers, tablets, and other devices used by staff and students.
  • Software Support: Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications used across various departments and classrooms.

Systems Administration

  • Server Management: Administer and maintain servers, ensuring high availability and performance for all critical applications and services.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Implement robust data backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical information.
  • Email Services: Manage email systems for city and school staff, ensuring secure and reliable communication.

IT Projects

  • New Technology Implementations: Lead and manage projects that introduce new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.

Cybersecurity

Support for Educational Technology

  • Classroom Technology: Support the integration of technology in classrooms to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Digital Learning Platforms: Manage and support digital learning platforms in collaboration with the School ITS (Instructional Technology Support) Team, ensuring they are accessible and effective for students and teachers.
  • Technology Training: Provide technical support to ITS for training teachers and staff on the effective use of educational technology tools.
