PUBLIC NOTICE
CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP
The City of Marlborough Department of Public Works has announced that once again there will be a curbside pickup of Christmas trees to be recycled.
The City’s Department of Public Works, Forestry, Parks and Cemeteries Division, will cover the City collecting Christmas trees for a three week period beginning Monday, January 9th through Friday, January 27, 2011.
Trees shall be left curbside for pickup on the same day as your weekly refuse pickup. Condominiums that are on the City’s regular refuse schedule will also be picked up. Trees that are not completely clean and free of tinsel, ornaments and/or bows will not be picked up. No trees will be picked up in plastic bags or with tree stands.
Residents, if they wish, may bring their trees to Ghiloni Park located off of Concord Road. A special drop off area will be set up and will close the last week in January. In addition, those residents with a residential sticker may bring their trees to the WeCare Environmental residential drop-off site located at 856 Boston Post Road East.
