City of Marlborough, MA - Sligo Hill Water Tank Lease for Wireless Communications

Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30B, Section 16, the City of Marlborough through its City Council seeks sealed proposals to lease a portion of the Sligo Hill Water Tank located at 97 Arnold Street Extension and for the construction of a monopole or similar at the Spoonhill Water Tank site located at 249 Miles Standish Drive in Marlborough, MA for wireless communications facilities in accordance with the City’s Zoning Ordinance. The proposal packages are available at the Procurement Office, City Hall, 4th Floor, 140 Main Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, by phone to 508-460-3707 or by email request to bsleeper@marlborough-ma.gov and proposals will be accepted at the Procurement Office until March 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., when all proposals will be publicly opened. Proposal packages will be delivered via FedEx Overnight for $25.00 (or the use of the vendor's FedEx account number). Proposals must be clearly identified in lower left-hand corner as Proposal: SLIGO or Proposal: SPOONHILL. Questions concerning the Requests for Proposals must be submitted in writing to: Beverly J. The City of Marlborough reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposals, or reject in whole or in part any or all proposals, to waive any informalities and to accept the proposal(s) deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
