One Day Peddler/Vendor License

Vendor - Massachusetts General Law (MGL) ch. 101, sec. 1-12A & city Regulations.
Process Length: Issued the same day.
Fee: $10 per vendor or peddler per day. Cash payment must be paid at the Treasurer's Office
Step 1:
EVENT PREMISE
The applicant must obtain a Letter of Permission from an authorized representative of the event premise. The letter should describe the event: date, start and end time, number of people expected to attend, type of event, name of vendor/peddler, his/her contact information, and types of goods to be sold.
Step 2:
The applicant must submit the Letter of Permission to the Police Department at least three business days before the event.
Once the applicant has met all requirements, the license will be issued. The applicant must then pay the required fee. The Police Department will conduct a site visit during the event.
