GAMES

Bingo every Wednesday at 10:15 AM Bingo and 12:30 afternoon Bingo
Bingo is a game of chance in which randomly selected numbers are drawn and players match those numbers to those appearing on 5x5 matrices which are printed or electronically represented and are known as "cards." The first person to have a card where the drawn numbers form a specified pattern is the winner and calls out the word "Bingo!" to alert others and inform the caller of the win. The card must first be properly checked for accuracy before the "win" is officially confirmed at which time the prize is secured and a new game is begun.

Bridge every Wednesday at 12:30
Bridge is played with a deck of 52 cards and four people sitting at a square table with the players who are sitting across from each other forming a partnership. There are four suits: clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades. Each suit has 13 cards. In Bridge, the deuce is the lowest card in the suit and the ace is the highest.  Draw cards to select the person to deal the cards (the dealer). This person distributes the cards face down, in clockwise rotation one at a time, until each player at the table has a hand consisting of 13 cards. After the play of each deal is completed, the opportunity to deal moves around the table clockwise so that each person has a turn to deal out the cards.  Each partnership tries to win (or take) as many tricks as possible.

Cribbage every Friday at 8:30
Cribbage, or crib, is a card game traditionally for two players, but commonly played with three, four or more, that involves playing and grouping cards  in combinations which gain points. Cribbage has several distinctive features: the cribbage board used for scorekeeping, the eponymous crib or box (a separate hand counting for the dealer), two distinct scoring stages (the play and the show) and a unique scoring system including points for groups of cards that total fifteen. The objective of the game is to be the first player to score a target number of points, typically 61 or 121. Points are scored for card combinations that add up to fifteen, pairs (plus triples and quadruples),runs and flushes.
