Transportation Resources
The City of Marlborough, in conjunction with other communities and entities, is constantly working to provide its citizens with various avenues for public transportation.  Listed below please find various methods and companies providing service to Marlborough:


·       MetroWest Regional Transit Authority: Effective July, 1, 2008, the City of Marlborough will become part of the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority. On-Demand services will be provided on a prioritized basis for ADA, disabled, elderly, journey to work riders, and the general public by calling 508.820.4650. ·       The Lift 7 Public Transit System: Operated by the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority, this system utilizes the flag down system. For information, visit the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority website at www.mwrta.com or call 508.935.2222.
·       Cavalier Coach Corporation: Commuter service available week-days from Northborough, Marlborough, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston to Boston.  Visit www.cavaliercoach.com or call 617 330-1234.
·       MBTA: The towns of Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Southborough, and Westborough all have stations along the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail line connecting South Station in Boston to Worcester.  Visit www.mbta.com or call 617 222-3200.
·       The MetroWest/495 Transportation Management Association: has programs and information available for commuter ridesharing, carpooling, etc.  Visit them at www.masscommute.com or call them at 508 879-5600.
·       Mass RIDES: Provides commuter information resources including Part-and-Ride lots, commuter buses and boats and cost comparisons. Visit www.commute.com for more information.
