Library mission
The mission of the Marlborough Public Library is to create a community meeting house where citizens of all ages are free to gather and pursue common educational, cultural and recreational interests.

Tom and Debbie O’Carroll:  The Music and Magic of Ireland
Join us on Monday, March 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as Irish-born folk singer Tom O'Carroll and his wife, Debbie, an actress and magician, introduce you to the many different aspects of Irish culture, through magic, stories, music, comedy, dance, and poetry. This program is intended for children ages 4 and up and their caregivers.  No registration is required.  Please contact the Children’s Department at 508-624-6902 for more information.

Adult Book Club
The Marlborough Public Library Book Club will meet on Monday, March 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to discuss The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.  Interested readers please contact Annie Glater at 508-624-6992 or aglater@cwmars.org for more information.  

Celebrity Visit: Al Getlar
Join us on Wednesday, March 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in welcoming professional ventriloquist, comedian, motivational speaker and editor of the Lawrence Eagle Tribune, Al Getlar, for an entertaining evening of conversation. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Marlborough Public Library.  

Author Visit: Alan Armstrong
Newbery author, Alan Armstrong, visits the Marlborough Public Library on Tuesday, March 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  to discuss the art of writing and share highlights from his books for children, including Whittington, winner of a Newbery Honor in 2006.  Whittington is a fascinating story-within-a-story that interweaves animal fantasy and a family story with a retelling of the English folktale, Dick Whittington and His Cat.  This program is open to families and children ages 7 and up.   No registration necessary.
