Report Issues to the City
"Marlborough Works" is a collaborative effort between the City of Marlborough Public Works Department and the City of Boston's Commonwealth Connect application. You can report issues to the City of Marlborough via this web page. In addition, a mobile "Marlborough Works" solution is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on the App Store and iTunes. It is available for the Android platform on Google's Play Store as well as for Windows Phone and Blackberry. By following the appropriate link at the bottom of this page, you can download the Commonwealth Connect app right to your device. Once loaded, your device's GPS capabilities will automatically load "Marlborough Works" when you are using the app within the City's borders.

Here's how it works…
1. Enter the address or use the map marker to navigate to the area where the issue you want to report is located on the map. (Use the controls in the upper left corner to move the map around the window or zoom in and out.).
2. Once you have mapped the location of your issue, click next to start step 2.
3. Choose your issue, such as "Pothole" from our drop down list of issues. After choosing your issue, you can then fill out a more detailed description of the issue and even attach a photograph. After this is complete, enter a display name, such as "John" or "Anonymous", as well as a valid email address. After you've completed all the fields, press submit to create a public report of your issue!
The widget above allows you to make service requests, and well as discover existing problems that have been reported, from your desktop computer. To report an issue:
City staff responds to Marlborough Works requests during regular business hours. If this report comes in on a holiday, weekend or after-hours, it will be read on the next business day. PLEASE NOTE: Marlborough Works is not to be used for emergencies. For urgent matters that require immediate attention or a police response, call 9-1-1.
Once you have sent a report, you will receive email communication acknowledging your service request. You can continue to check on the status of the issue online. Once the work is complete or the issue has been resolved, you will be notified by email as well.
