Days: Mondays

Time: HIIT 7:15AM to 7:45AM
          YOGA 7:45AM to 8:15AM
                    Yoga for Everyone 9:00am to 10:00am

Start date: Monday October 17th

Course duration: 5 weeks

Location: Jericho Building Brigham St.

Participants will have the option of taking either:

30 minute HIIT class

30 minute YOGA

HIIT / YOGA combined (60mins)

Yoga for Everyone (60mins)

Cost: 30 minute HIIT = $27.50 5 classes

Cost: 30 minute YOGA $27.50 5 classes

Cost: 60 minute HIIT/YOGA $50.00 5 classes

Cost: 60 minutes of Yoga for Everyone $50.00 for 5 classes

What are the benefits of HIIT?

• Lose abdominal fat and body weight while maintaining muscle mass.


Course outlines:

HIIT will begin with a warm up followed by timed intervals of high intensity body conditioning drills such as Jumping jacks, push ups, squat jumps, and planks followed by brief timed rests. Each class will offer a new routine designed to challenge the body and blast calories and fat!

YOGA: Lengthen and stretch the muscles increasing flexibility, strength and balance by moving through Yoga postures synchronized with breath.

Yoga for Everyone: The class will begin with a brief centering to focus on the breath for the practice. A gentle warm up of the entire body will follow next we move into yoga postures (asanas) which will focus on alignment, breathing, and technique. Participants will build endurance, flexibility, and strength in the body as well as calm the mind. Both energizing and relaxing at the same time. Modifications will be offered for those new to Yoga practice.

Participants are asked to bring a Yoga or exercise mat.

Ages 16+

Instructor Ellen Elsasser is certified by the American Council on Exercise and Fitness resources. She has worked as a personal trainer, group exercise and Yoga instructor and Fitness director for over 15 years.
