REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:
24. ORDERED: That the removal and disposal of earth materials within the site/subdivision shall be limited only to that which is required in order to bring the site to its proposed finish grade as shown on the approved plan. FURTHER ORDERED: That on-site processing of excavated earth materials including, but not limited to, stone, rock, ledge, till, gravel, sand, silt, muck, etc., is strictly prohibited. Raw, excavated earth materials which may not be used on site until processed shall be removed from the site, processed elsewhere at a location acceptable to the Building Commissioner and, as appropriate, brought back to the site for use.
For the purpose of this regulation, on-site processing shall be defined as: crushing, grinding, screening, mixing, grading, and/or washing raw earth materials for the purpose of producing modified or composite materials which meet specification requirements for use in construction.
