ORDERED: That the City of Marlborough establish a fundraising program to collect monies for the Labor Day Parade by requesting local merchants to place coin collection tins in their establishments for voluntary contributions by residents and patrons. This will create a public/private partnership for the Labor Day Parade and lessen the financial burden to our taxpayers…………submitted by Councilors Pope and Schafer.
