REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

14.     ORDERED:  That the Sewer Entrance Fee be amended by adding the following language that will reduce the sewer fee for two family and three family homes.  The present fee structure charges a multiple family dwelling $10,000 plus $500/unit.  The following language will create distinct categories for two and three family dwellings only:  Sewer: Entrance, service pipes, residential three family $9000 - Sewer: Entrance, service pipes, residential two family $6000…….submitted  by Councilor Clancy.

17.     Order No. 04-100551 - re: reappointment, Anthony Arruda to Bd. Of Assessors, 3 yr term to expire 2/1/07.  Recommendation of Committee to approve 3-0.
18.     Order No. 04-100547 - re: reappointment E.Susan Ellis, Personnel Director, 3 yr term to expire 7/1/07.  Recommendation of Committee to approve 3-0.
19.     Order No. 04-100519 - re: reappointment, Christopher White, Tree Warden, 3 yr term to expire 2/1/07.  Recommendation of Committee to approve  3-0.
20.     Order No. 04-100579 - re: appointments to Board of Health.  Recommendation of Committee to approve appointments of Mr. Tselikis and John Rowe and; that the appointment of Dr. Cozzi be tabled in Committee.  Mayor requested to clarify length of terms of all three 3-0.

FROM OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION COMMITTEE:
21.     Order No. 04-100583 - re: acceptance of land off Brigham St as Open Space Land.  Recommendation of Committee to approve and to keep the Open Space Plan ongoing.

FROM PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE:
22.     Order No. 04-100564 - Sewer Connection Permit, Boston Scientific, 55 Fairbanks Blvd.  Recommendation of Committee to approve with conditions:  Permit is for 37,500 gpd; permit shall lapse if connection is not made within 18 months after date of final approval; if total volume is not needed, surplus will be returned to the City.

23.     Order No. 04-100416 - re: proposed Nuisance/AntiBlight Ordinance - under review by City Solicitor.
