The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Program plans to conduct additional mosquito spraying from sunset until midnight on Wednesday, August 8th. This spraying will be conducted in the areas where residents had been notified last week as targeted environs to the locations where a dead bird and trapped mosquitoes had been identified as testing positive for West Nile Virus.
Please note: As has been past practice, mosquito spraying is routinely conducted throughout the City each year. While this particular City area has received additional applications (and may continue to do so), other City neighborhoods will be experiencing mosquito spray applications on a rotating basis through the remainder of the season.
