The City of Marlborough through its Department of Public Works will receive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide instrumentation equipment maintenance services for the Cedar Hill Pump Station, Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plant in Marlborough, MA, for a 3-year period beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2011. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) package, including detailed specifications and bid forms is available at the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Utilities, Department of Public Works, Municipal Garage, 135 Neil
Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, Tel. 508-624-6910 as of May 5, 2008 and bids will be accepted at the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Utilities until May 22, 2008 at 10:30 A.M., when all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bid packages will be delivered via FedEx Overnight for $25.00 (or the use of the vendor's FedEx account number). All bids must be clearly identified in lower left-hand corner as BID: INSTRUMENTATION EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, CONTRACT 2008-21. The City will not be responsible for the premature opening of bids not properly identified, and such bids will be rejected. Questions concerning this invitation for bids must be submitted in writing to: Doran Crouse, DPW, Municipal Garage, 135 Neil Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 before 12 Noon on May 16, 2008. The City reserves the right to cancel this IFB, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if the City determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the City.
